My passion is creating tools that are simple, reliable, and genuinely useful. Not because they showcase the latest technology, but because they make someone's job easier.

I fell in love with wireless protocols early in my career, and that fascination has only deepened. From 5G and LTE to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, I find every aspect of wireless communications compelling; how they work, how to secure them, and how to build better tools for working with them.

My approach to software is guided by one principle: Keep It Simple Most systems are over-engineered, making them difficult to maintain, modify, and understand. I believe in building architectures that are elegant in their simplicity, interfaces that are intuitive, and code that future developers (including myself) will thank me for writing.

This philosophy led me to create Network Survey in 2018, which has grown to serve thousands of users worldwide who need reliable wireless network analysis without vendor lock-in. In 2022, I founded Caskfive to focus full-time on building great software; whether that's enhancing Network Survey, architecting backend systems, or solving unique challenges for clients.

My background as a user of these tools informs everything I build. I design from the user's perspective, focusing on what people need rather than what technology can do.
